Remember—you’re in the driver’s seat

This is your space to create a life on your terms.

Hi, I’m Karen, the founder of Healthy Fork in the Road. My journey has been anything but linear—marked by resilience, transformation, and a deep commitment to healing.

Losing both my father and brother less than a week apart set me on a profound path of spirituality. Surviving cancer twice and nearly losing my husband to a heart attack ignited

my passion for understanding how to heal the body with food. But I also learned that true wellness goes beyond nutrition—it’s about stress reduction, self-care, and balance.

Everything I’ve learned over decades of research and personal experience; I share here with you. Welcome.

Testimonials

Karen has been making food for me for several years, I’m a busy health professional, and can work long hours, so preparing food is the last thing I want to do for myself, but I know nutrition matters. Even high-end organic companies that you can Door Dash, there is no comparison. Karen’s meal prep and food not only saved me time, but her food gave me energy. I could really feel the difference eating her organic food and could feel the love that she would put into every dish. Most of her meals would include a homemade healthy dessert too. I suffer from food allergies, so she was able to customize my meals to my dietary restrictions and still somehow was able to make it all taste so good as well. Some of the food even came from her own garden, and there really is no comparison. Karen is a delight to work with and has been able to help me on a spiritual plane as well. Everything she touches becomes better whether she is cooking your food, setting up a space, or hosting an event, she’s a wonderful and beautiful person inside and out and it’s been a pleasure to work with her throughout these years. I highly recommend her services. She truly cares about helping and making lasting changes in your life.
